Merrill Storch is a Senior Analyst at Verdant Associates. Her past work has focused on distributed energy resource (DER) capacity sizing, EV charging optimization, and distribution system operator (DSO) regulatory structure analysis. Merrill enjoys performing quantitative analyses and translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights to support diverse stakeholders in making informed decisions.
Merrill holds a Master of Science in Atmosphere and Energy from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Hamilton College. She is impact-driven, and her work is guided by a commitment to sustainability, equity, and climate change mitigation. Based in San Francisco, Merrill enjoys exploring the Bay Area’s food scene and scenic hikes, lifting, dancing, and playing tennis in her free time.
