It follows the CEC Consultant Report #CEC-200-2023-010, which provides policy makers and other stakeholders a source to support ongoing policy development and research. We highlight sources of renewable natural gas within California, estimates of market and technical potential from both in-state and out-of-state sources, carbon intensities based on the source of renewable natural gas, and federal and state incentive programs and policies that may affect the future of this fuel in California.
