Renewable Natural Gas in California
Verdant Associates provides a snapshot into the status of Renewable Natural Gas within California, including sources of renewable natural gas within California, estimates of potential production, carbon intensities for different sources, federal and state incentive programs, and federal and state policies that may affect the future of renewable natural gas within California. Our report was published under the CEC Consultant Report #CEC-200-2023-010, Published August 2023. This dashboard highlights our findings outlined in the report. It is our understanding that the CEC will soon be developing a similar dashboard based on these and other data.
BayREN Heat Mitigation Pilot Research
Verdant Associates and Grounded Research and Consulting collaborated on a research initiative exploring Heat Mitigation opportunities in residential homes on behalf of BayREN. The presented dashboard highlights findings from the analysis focused on lowering indoor air temperatures in residential homes.
EmPOWER Maryland Residential Baseline Study
Verdant Associates, in partnership with Applied Energy Group, was hired by the EmPOWER Maryland Utilities to complete a residential baseline saturation survey. This dashboard and associated report showcase the findings of the survey.
California PUC High DER Proceeding
The CPUC engaged Verdant Associates, along with project partners Kevala, Gridworks, and Xanthus Consulting, to determine how to optimize the integration of millions of DERs into the distribution grid while ensuring the cost of grid services is affordable.
